It's kind of hard to see the ring, it kinda popped out at me last minute. But to me, she's dropping the ring, like, she's choosing not to tie herself down. For good or bad.
Maybe the clocks represent all the time she's lost in that relationship that she's going to have to make up for. The sunset representing the end of the relationship?
Maybe it represents that she still needs to settle down and the clock is ticking! The sunset being symbolic for her life having an end sometime...
Either way, it seems like a very decisive motion, her dropping the ring. I approve.
